Yoga is very beneficial for the body (flexibility, strength) and for the mind (calming, relaxing).

Yoga is suitable for men and women of any age. You do not have to be super-fit or super-flexible to do it, and you don't need designer sports clothes - just wear clothes which don't impede movement (e.g. no tight waistbands!). be prepared to work in bare feet.

If you attend classes regularly, or do yoga at home, you will need a mat. Get one specifically sold for yoga. They start from around £10.

If you have an injury or medical condition, please tell me. Variations can be suggested to work round the problem, or even improve it.
